The Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations and Tunnel (South Civil) project will significantly impact Ontario's economy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We require a skilled professional to review shop drawings prepared by Subcontractor Designers in accordance with Project Specifications and local standards.
  • This role involves coordinating with other departments to provide review and comment on shop drawings.
  • It is essential to assist in preparing a forecast of shop drawings review by Designers.
  • The selected candidate must track the progress of shop drawings review and response of RFI/NCR in respect with construction schedule.
  • They will also keep proper follow-up of modifications table during construction.
  • Necessary inputs will be required to track Designer's cost based on time and material during ESDC.
  • Cordination and interface with other teams within Design Team and with other departments addressing any potential conflicts is crucial.
  • This role requires identifying any change from design with quantity variation for Design Manager review and proposal to Project Management.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate should have experience in detailed design of building and civil infrastructure projects.
  • Sound knowledge on building design and previous experience working in design teams or external consultants are required.
  • Knowledge and experience with Autodesk software and other applicable common software in transportation engineering are also essential.
