Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Coordinator to join our team on the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations and Tunnel (South Civil) package, a major infrastructure project in Toronto.

The Design Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing shop drawings prepared by subcontractors, ensuring they meet project specifications and local standards.

  • Coordinate with construction and methods teams to provide timely review and comment.
  • Assist in forecasting shop drawings review and tracking progress.
  • Keep a proper follow-up of modifications during construction and prepare As-built documentation.
  • Provide necessary inputs for tracking designers' costs and approving monthly invoices.
Key Requirements
  • Masters degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering required.
  • Experience in detailed design of building and civil infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of building design and previous experience working in design teams or external consultants required.
  • Knowledge and experience with Autodesk software and other applicable common software in transportation engineering an asset.
