Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and driven Project Manager for the delivery of secured, iconic commercial construction projects.

Fairbrother is an award-winning commercial builder with a successful track record of securing government, community, and other high-profile regional projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make their mark on their local environment and contribute to the prosperity and lifestyle of the region.

The role will be based out of our modern regional office in Launceston. Reporting to the Divisional Manager, this is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to become part of our dynamic team of individuals who work hard, are welcoming, supportive and are the experts in what they do.

Safety, Quality and Environmental Targets

  • Ensure all projects exceed safety, quality and environmental targets as defined in our integrated management system.
  • Deliver projects in line with the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and Australian Standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement effective project plans.
  • Provide support, coaching and mentoring as appropriate to employees.
  • Undertake tasks autonomously.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of commercial construction experience.
  • Formal occupational Health and Safety training.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office suite of tools, including Microsoft Project.
