About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Protection Expert to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards of information security. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your expertise in data management and contribute to our organization's mission.

As a Data Protection Expert, you will be responsible for implementing and managing information protection strategies using Microsoft Purview Information Protection. You will develop, enforce, and maintain data classification and labelling policies to ensure sensitive information is properly protected. Your role will also involve monitoring and responding to information protection incidents, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Classification and Labeling: Implement and manage information protection strategies using Microsoft Purview Information Protection.
  • Policy Development and Enforcement: Develop, enforce, and maintain data classification and labelling policies to ensure sensitive information is properly protected.
  • Incident Response: Monitor and respond to information protection incidents, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation.
  • Audit and Assessment: Conduct regular audits and assessments of information protection controls and policies.
Your Background
  • Experience: 7+ years related experience in data management or similar position.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, data sciences, or related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (purview), familiarity with machine learning concepts, strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
