We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists to provide evidence-based, person-centred and outcome-focused positive behaviour support to individuals in community settings.

Our Positive Behaviour Support Model is designed to understand the drivers of behaviours from a communication, sensory and environmental perspective. You will be responsible for providing exceptional standards of care and support to individuals and teams, mentoring colleagues to optimise individual potential and support team growth, identifying and implementing quality improvement opportunities for service delivery, and contributing to creating a safe, healthy and respectful workplace culture.

The ideal candidate will have current registration as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, substantial experience in providing positive behaviour support, and excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, influencing, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. A demonstrated commitment to being a team player and ongoing professional development is also essential.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement quality improvement opportunities for service delivery.
  • Contribute to creating a safe, healthy and respectful workplace culture.

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
  • Substantial experience in providing positive behaviour support.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, influencing, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to being a team player.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Current Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle.
