Job Description

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Professional to deliver evidence-based, functional behavioural outcomes in New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional person-centred positive behaviour support to caseload of OCA participants in community settings
  • Offer mentorship that optimises individual potential and supports the team to thrive as practitioners while working collaboratively with leadership to optimise quality of supports
  • Identify, provide input, and implement ongoing quality improvement opportunities for service delivery by OCA
  • Ensure OCA provides a workplace that is safe, healthy and respectful, along with actively contributing to growing the culture of being a fun, people-focused and stimulating place to work

About You

  • Current suitability with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Substantial experience in the provision of positive behaviour support as recognised by The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework
  • Demonstration of alignment to our vision to deliver evidence-based, person-centred and outcome-focused supports which enable participants and their significant others to live their best lives
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication (written and verbal), influencing, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to being a team player
  • Commitment to continuing professional development
  • Flawless writing skills
  • Current Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle

Qualifications

  • Degree level qualifications of relevance to providing support to people with behaviours of concern are highly preferred
