Job Title:

A Clinical Specialist - Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner is required to play a vital role in developing and implementing evidence-based plans to support individuals with complex needs.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan Development: Review and develop Positive Behaviour Support Plans to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
  • Training and Support: Provide training, support, and guidance to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in areas such as report writing, formulation, and strategy development.
  • Research Projects: Participate in research projects to build the evidence base for our plans, with a view to publication in peer-reviewed journals.
Requirements:
  • PhD or Doctorate in a relevant field (desirable)
  • Background in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Special Education, or Behavioural Interventions for individuals with Autism Spectrum disorder, Intellectual Disability, or other complex diagnoses
  • Experience in understanding the NDIS and providing Positive Behaviour Support or similar services within the disability, school, or justice sectors
  • Ability to write and edit high-quality reports
  • A valid driver's license and reliable car
  • National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain one before commencement
