Sales & Marketing Coordinator Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, a luxurious international 5-star hotel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Commercial Director and sales and marketing teams with administrative tasks.
  • Assist in creating and distributing promotional materials, such as hotel brochures and sales kits.
  • Plan and coordinate day-to-day activities of the senior team.
  • Have up-to-date knowledge of hotel rates, packages, and operational details for site inspections.
  • Manage costs and maintain a monthly cost ledger for the S&M department.
  • Prepare monthly and weekly reports for the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Dispatch and collect sales and marketing correspondence within the hotel.
  • Conduct research and competitive analysis with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Support projects related to internal and external promotions.

Requirements:

  • Aptitude and willingness to undertake further development with Sofitel.
  • Ability to organize time and work efficiently.
  • Effective numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and manages priorities efficiently.
  • Handles tasks carefully and correctly with a sense of urgency balanced with attention to detail.
  • Good team player who contributes to and assists co-workers without being asked.
  • Previous administrative experience required.
