Sales & Marketing Coordinator Job Description

Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, a luxury hotel, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Coordinator to support the Commercial Director and sales and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Commercial Director and sales and marketing teams.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, such as hotel brochures and sales kits.
  • Plan and coordinate day-to-day activities of the senior team as required.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel rates, packages, and operational details to handle site inspections with clients.
  • Manage costs and maintain an accurate monthly cost ledger for the sales and marketing department.
  • Prepare monthly and weekly reports for the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Dispatch and collect sales and marketing correspondence within the hotel.
  • Conduct research and competitive analysis to support the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Assist with specified projects related to internal and external promotions.

Requirements:

  • Ability to undertake further development with Sofitel.
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Effective communication and numeracy skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage priorities effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle tasks carefully.
  • Good team player with a willingness to contribute to and assist colleagues.
  • Previous administrative experience required.
