The Sofitel Sydney Wentworth hotel, a renowned luxury hotel in Sydney, is currently seeking a highly skilled Sales & Marketing Coordinator to support the Commercial Director and sales and marketing teams in delivering exceptional service to guests.

The hotel is undergoing a transformation, enhancing its facilities and partnering with House Made Hospitality to set new standards in Australian hospitality. As a Sales & Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the smooth running of the department by handling administrative tasks.
  • Assisting in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, such as hotel brochures and sales kits.
  • Supporting the planning of daily activities for the senior team.
  • Providing up-to-date knowledge of hotel rates, packages, and operational details for site inspections.
  • Managing costs and maintaining a monthly cost ledger for the S&M department.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly and weekly reports for the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Dispatching and collecting Sales and Marketing correspondence within the hotel.
  • Supporting research and competitive analysis for the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Assisting with projects related to internal and external promotions.

Key qualifications include:

  • Aptitude and willingness to undertake further development with Sofitel.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Highly organised and able to manage priorities efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle tasks carefully.
  • Good team player with a willingness to contribute to and assist colleagues.
  • Previous administrative experience required.
