Admissions Clerk Job Summary

As a vital team member, the Admissions Clerk plays a key role in providing clerical support and assistance for all administrative functions related to patient admissions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing timely and accurate information to relevant stakeholders;
  • Interviewing patients upon admission to capture complete financial and demographic profiles on our patient administration system;
  • Capturing private and compensable patients for hospital revenue, including managing Inpatient Election documentation under the healthcare agreement;
  • Generating updated patient identification labels and Inpatient Registration Sheets.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
