Electrical Operations Manager Job Description

O'Brien Electrical is a nationally focused business with a strong client base and reputation for excellence.

We are seeking an Electrical Operations Manager to join our leadership team.

As a key member of the management team, you will oversee the operational workings of our business, making strategic decisions and developing policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership and direction to the working team
  • Making important planning and strategy decisions
  • Recruiting staff when necessary
  • Providing technical support and guidance
  • Managing estimating, reporting, planning and auditing
  • Identifying opportunities for growth and development
  • Supporting communication among workers
  • Estimating electrical works and managing stock control
  • Ensuring company safety systems and protocols

Requirements: 10+ years experience as an electrician, broad knowledge across all fields, excellent communication skills, and understanding of material pricing and time budgeting.

Primary Accountability: Manage daily operations, provide business growth, and meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
