Property Claims Specialist

We're seeking a detail-oriented Property Claims Specialist to join our dynamic claims team. In this role, you'll oversee the entire Property claims process, working across a diverse portfolio including both intermediated and direct customers.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service. You'll play a key role in ensuring claims are handled efficiently, professionally, and in line with compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit and manage Property claims in accordance with industry regulations.
  • Manage claims within agreed workflow timeframes and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Coordinate claim lifecycles through diary management and vendor coordination, such as repairers, assessors.
  • Respond to customer complaints and expressions of dissatisfaction with empathy and professionalism.
  • Support customers and stakeholders via incoming call enquiries.
  • Conduct regular claims reviews and assist with overflow claims from other teams as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in Property claims handling.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to adapt communication to different customer groups.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven time management and organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the insurance industry.
  • Experience working with external vendors, such as repairers, assessors, and brokers.
