We are seeking a highly skilled Property Claims Specialist to join our dynamic claims team.

Job Overview

As a Property Claims Specialist, you will manage Property claims from end to end, working across a diverse portfolio that includes both intermediated and direct customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Claim Management: Accurately assess and manage Property claims in accordance with industry regulations.
  • Efficient Handling: Handle claims efficiently within agreed workflow timeframes and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Vendor Coordination: Proactively manage claim lifecycles through diary management and vendor coordination (e.g., repairers, assessors).
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer complaints and expressions of dissatisfaction with empathy and professionalism.
  • Enquiry Support: Manage incoming call enquiries, providing clear and timely support to customers and stakeholders.
  • Claims Reviews: Conduct regular claims reviews and assist with overflow claims from other sub-teams as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Property claims handling.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills with the ability to adapt communication to different customer groups.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Time Management: Proven time management and organisational skills.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the insurance industry.
  • Vendor Experience: Experience working with external vendors such as repairers, assessors, and brokers.
