About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cluster Centre Manager to join our team at YMCA NSW. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall operations of our recreation centres, driving business and programs within the operating budget and contract compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of staff across two recreation centres
  • Develop and implement business and programs to meet the needs of the local community
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and operating budget
  • Build and maintain key community connections with local organisations
  • Develop and deliver community-based recreation, wellbeing and activity-focused programs
Requirements
  • Significant industry knowledge and experience of at least 3 - 5 years facility management responsibility at Manager; Assistant Manager; Centre Co-ordinator; or similar level
  • Demonstrated high level communication skills including written and verbal reporting
  • Knowledge of Community Recreation
  • Knowledge of Facility Contract Management
  • Experience in managing staff
  • Experience in financial management including developing and managing budgets
  • Highly developed observation and reporting skills
  • Ability to direct and oversee the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of appropriate programs, both centre-based and community-hosted, which reflect the needs of the local community.
