About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Santos Ltd as a People Adviser, based in our Brisbane office. As a key member of our HR team, you will work closely with our People Business Partners to provide a full range of human resource services to our employees and leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR advisory support to employees and leaders to ensure continuous upgrading of people capability and smooth implementation of people processes.
  • Utilise tools, guides, policies, and frameworks to support leader and employee queries.
  • Assist and guide leaders through HR annual cyclical processes, including performance reviews, remuneration reviews, and development planning.
  • Provide initial advice on company people policies and procedures, as well as legislation and enterprise agreements.
  • Assist leaders with performance management cases.
  • Contribute to the rollout of initiatives and utilise change management best practice.
  • Facilitate and present HR programs.
  • Work collaboratively with the HR Centres of Excellence to operationalise fit-for-purpose programs aligned to the regional business priorities, including opportunities for identifying efficiencies and continually improving service quality.
  • Provide HR administrative support for various People initiatives, including data management and assisting with reporting and data analysis to help draw insights to feed into better people solutions.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Highly developed planning and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks within designated timeframes in a complex and commercially focused company.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to provide advice and feedback.
  • HR coordination/administration experience.
  • Effective and engaging facilitation methodologies.
  • Data Analytics experience, utilising Excel.
  • Demonstrated team player; supporting delivery of broader team objectives.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic organisation.

Ideally, you will have (or be working towards) formal qualifications in HR Management or a related area of study such as Psychology or Commerce.
