Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve profitable outcomes by valuing and assessing trade-in vehicles for customers purchasing new or used cars.
  • Foster relationships with fleet customers to evaluate their trade requirements.
  • Monitor sales strategies, campaigns, and events to optimize market share and growth.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer objectives, buying criteria, and decision-making processes to form long-term business partnerships.
  • Contact auctions and other wholesalers to gauge interest in purchasing vehicles deemed wholesale sales.
  • Accurately complete valuation forms and associated documentation.
  • Evaluate vehicle history for any potential accidents.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Exceptional knowledge and experience in appraising vehicles.
  • Background in sales processes and selling techniques.
  • Proven experience within the Automotive industry is essential.
  • Demonstrated advanced mechanical knowledge, including panels, parts, and accessories.
  • In-depth understanding of vehicle models and specifications.
  • Experience in attending auctions and purchasing vehicles.
  • Current market value knowledge.
  • Forward-thinking individual with strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer focus and communication abilities.
  • Ability to profile customer needs.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and automotive DMS systems.
  • Certification as a Queensland Motor Dealer is required at all times.
  • Holding an unrestricted driver's license is mandatory.
