Supported by ongoing training and the opportunity for career & personal development, those that join our amazing team enjoy, and contribute to, an environment where a positive culture is our priority.THE POSITIONAuto Corner is offering the unique opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Wholesale Manager to help drive growth and profitability within our vehicle sales departments.This role offers the successful applicant a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of vehicle trades while being responsible for appraisals, purchasing and all wholesale activity.Our ideal candidate will be a positive person who is committed to aligning used vehicle sales activities with the broader business plan, and most importantly having a genuine desire to grow with the business.We are looking for someone who is capable of managing the following:» To accurately value and assess trade in vehicles for customers purchasing a new or used car.
» Liaising with fleet customers to assess fleet trades.
» Monitoring sales and product strategies, campaigns and events to optimise market share.
» Understanding the customer's objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes, and forming long term business partnerships.
» Ring auctions and other wholesalers to determine their interest in purchasing a vehicle deemed a wholesale sale.
» Correctly complete valuation forms and associated paperwork» Assessing if vehicles have been in an accident.Our ideal candidate will have:» Excellent knowledge of and experience in appraising vehicles» Experience with sales processes and selling techniques» Experience within the Automotive industry is essential» Demonstrated high level mechanical knowledge including panel, parts and accessories» Strong understanding of vehicle models and the specifications of each model» Experience in attending auctions and purchasing vehicles» Demonstrated current knowledge with market value prices» Proactive forward thinker with excellent planning and organisational skills» Strong customer focus and the ability to communicate effectively» Ability to profile customer needs» Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and automotive DMS systems» A current Queensland Motor Dealer's Licence is required at all times» Must hold a current unrestricted driver's licenceLocated in Mackay, representing global and desirable brands, and experiencing strong growth, this is the dream role you have been waiting for
