Business Area Description:

The Client Relationship Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and customer satisfaction across Lenovo's total offerings, including hardware, software, and services. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and a proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies that meet or exceed business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical sales knowledge in Lenovo's discipline offerings, including financial and selling skills.
  • Demonstrate required proficiency levels for technical and sales skills, as defined for Account Executives.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of sales processes, techniques, and tools, and advise others on their use.
  • Work closely with Lenovo Internal Account Managers and other areas of the business to achieve sales objectives.
  • Effectively differentiate Lenovo offerings from competitive alternatives and create customer preference for Lenovo offerings.
  • Negotiate with multiple levels of customer management to close sales and achieve business objectives.

Problem Solving:

Design total integrated solutions, including hardware, software, and services, to meet complex customer business requirements. Combine solutions with terms and conditions to create a final customer proposal that ensures a workable solution.

Contribution/Leadership:

Lead teams of professionals, including sales specialists, client relationship professionals, and Lenovo Business Partners, to design solutions for large or complex opportunities. Provide ongoing technical and sales guidance to team members to ensure successful sales outcomes.

Impact on Business/Scope:

Accountable for assigned territory sales results, specific personal objectives, including revenue and margin, and for activities and project results of cross-functional sales teams. Manage to a high level of customer satisfaction and design plans to increase customer satisfaction with sales engagements and solutions.
