Substation Design Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Substation Design Specialist to drive the development of high-performance substation primary engineering projects up to 500kV in collaboration with design partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead primary substation design, including layout, equipment arrangement, and electrical clearances.
  • Perform comprehensive design calculations.
  • Develop complete design packages including BOMs and technical specifications for HV equipment.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure clash-free and optimized designs.
  • Review system studies to guarantee safe and reliable operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Primary Engineer on major energy infrastructure projects (HV/EHV substations).
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
  • CPEng or working towards it.
  • Membership or eligibility with a relevant engineering body.
