Working on energy transition projects is a chance to make a meaningful impact. At the forefront of this change, Design and Build has partnered with a Tier 1 contractor to deliver substation primary engineering up to 500kV.
This opportunity involves collaborating with top engineers in the energy sector to drive innovative solutions for solar, wind, transmission, and substations.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing primary substation layouts, equipment arrangements, and electrical clearances
Carrying out design calculations
Developing comprehensive design packages including BOMs and technical specs for HV equipment
Ensuring designs are clash-free and optimized through coordination with other disciplines
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Senior Primary Engineer on major energy infrastructure projects (HV/EHV substations)
Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering)
CPEng or working towards it
Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering body
