We are driving energy transition by collaborating with top engineers to design and deliver primary substation engineering up to 500kV. This opportunity involves working closely with leading experts in the energy sector to develop innovative solutions for solar, wind, transmission, and substations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Primary Substations: Designing primary substation layouts, equipment arrangements, and electrical clearances that meet industry standards
  • Conduct Design Calculations: Performing detailed design calculations to ensure accurate and safe designs that minimize risk and optimize performance
  • Develop Comprehensive Design Packages: Developing comprehensive design packages including BOMs and technical specs for HV equipment that align with project requirements
  • Ensure Clash-Free Designs: Ensuring designs are clash-free and optimized through coordination with other disciplines to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Primary Engineer on major energy infrastructure projects (HV/EHV substations) with a track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines
  • Relevant Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications such as a Bachelor of Engineering degree in a relevant field
  • Professional Certifications: Professional certifications such as CPEng or equivalent recognized by industry bodies
  • Industry Affiliations: Active membership or eligibility with a relevant engineering body
