About the Job:

This Senior Associate role is a key senior team member that provides credit analysis, deal execution, and portfolio risk management functions to support the NAB Corporate Health team in NSW.

You will be directly involved in all aspects of portfolio management and the client relationship, building on your existing credit/analytical skills and client relationship skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage workflow and prioritize activities to meet customer expectations and provide exceptional service.
  • Assist in preparing complex customer lending applications and ensure they are completed in line with company standards.
  • Drive and support the portfolio management process, including covenant monitoring and credit excesses management.
  • Attend customer meetings when appropriate, negotiating terms and conditions with customers and credit.
  • Complete financial modeling tasks and interpret complex financial and property transaction information for both property investment and development lending transactions.
  • Contribute to quality, consistency, and continuous improvement practices in the DS&E team with emphasis on the quality of credit submissions and management of business risks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business banking and commercial lending, ideally in a Corporate or Institutional Banking environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business (or related discipline).
  • Demonstrate strong skills in credit, financial modeling, transaction structuring, and documentation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and stakeholders' management skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
