Audiology Career Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Audiologist or Audiometrist to fill this role.
As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing the extent of client hearing loss using various techniques, including audiometric tests.
You will also report results of assessments and tests in writing, make referrals to medical practitioners, and recommend solutions to those with hearing impairment.
This is a full-time position working standard business hours. We have great opportunities for professional development and growth within our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and diagnosing client hearing loss using various techniques
- Reporting assessment results and making referrals to medical professionals
- Recommending solutions for hearing impairment
- Providing counseling, advice, and information to clients and families
- Developing and managing noise control and hearing conservation strategies
- Treating and managing hearing and communication disorders
Requirements:
- University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification
- Current membership (CCP) or eligibility for membership (CCP) of AudA or ACAud
- Current QP number
- Solid audiological skills and knowledge
- Excellent customer care and service skills
- Ability to learn new software
- Proven ability to achieve KPIs
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
