Audiological Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Audiologist to fill a critical role in our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing client hearing loss, providing counselling and advice, and developing treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct audiometric tests to assess client hearing loss
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs for clients with hearing impairment
  • Provide counselling services to clients and their families
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop noise control and hearing conservation strategies
  • Treat and manage hearing and communication disorders caused by age, disability, injury, or disease
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Audiology degree or equivalent qualification
  • Current membership of AudA or ACAud
  • Current QP number
  • Solid audiological skills and knowledge
  • Excellent customer care and service skills
  • Ability to learn new software with training
  • Proven ability to achieve KPIs
  • Well-developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to continued professional development
