Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Audiologist to join our team. As a Clinical Audiologist, you will play a vital role in assessing and diagnosing client hearing loss using various techniques, including audiometric tests.

Your responsibilities will include reporting test results in writing and referring clients to medical practitioners when necessary. You will also recommend solutions for hearing impairment, such as amplification devices or implantable devices.

Additionally, you will provide counselling, advice, and information to clients and their families as part of overall treatment. You will assist in developing and managing noise control and hearing conservation strategies.

Furthermore, you will provide treatment and management for hearing and communication disorders related to age, disability, injury, or disease.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification.
  • Current membership or eligibility for membership of AudA or ACAud.
  • Current QP number.
  • Solid audiological skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent customer care and service skills.
  • Ability to learn new software with training.
  • Proven ability to achieve key performance indicators.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to continued professional development.
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Ability to network with general practitioners and other allied health professionals.
