Role Overview

This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' hearing capabilities using various techniques and tests
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address hearing impairments and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with medical practitioners and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Provide personalized counseling and advice to clients and their families on managing hearing loss and communication disorders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, technologies, and best practices in audiology
Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification
  • Current membership (CCP) or eligibility for membership (CCP) of AudA or ACAud
  • Current QP number
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge in audiology
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
