Strategic Partnerships and Commercial Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Partnerships and Commercial Operations Lead to join our team at Gridsight. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and maximising revenue across our global business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow and lead our partnerships function, managing and maximising existing partnerships, and testing and scaling new partnerships to accelerate GTM in existing markets, enter new markets, and enhance our product capabilities.
  • Own, streamline, and manage sales and revenue operations processes, including Deal Desk formation and management, revenue forecasting, centralising reporting, and performance monitoring.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, licensing deals, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements, and conduct initial legal reviews and coordinate with external legal counsel as required.
  • Own, streamline, and manage key commercial documentation processes, ensuring the company's operations comply with applicable laws and regulations, and provide legal advice to internal teams around data protection laws.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and third parties, creating and driving review processes.
  • Actively manage working capital and non-competitive grants to maximise yields/credits.
  • Develop and manage processes to track key performance indicators related to both commercial and operational activities, supporting executive reporting, board meetings, and fundraising.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or JD in Law, with years of professional experience across commercial management, operations, or a similar role, preferably within the tech or software industry.
  • Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or pre-Series C tech startups preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills for closing deals, managing contracts, and establishing partnerships.
  • Proven ability in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and managing P&L.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing strategic projects across multiple departments with varying timelines.
  • Self-starter mentality, able to independently prioritise tasks and manage time effectively with minimal oversight.
