We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day activities across manufacturing, client coordination, project management, quality assurance, and operational logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain production equipment, including mixing, filling, packaging, and sealing.
  • Assist with raw material handling, weighing, and documentation.
  • Evaluate compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers for continuous process improvements.
  • Collaborate with management to scale operations and manage projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure hygiene standards and process validations are maintained.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for equipment and processes.
  • Promote HACCP and food safety compliance.
  • Coordinate packaging operations, logistics, and product dispatch.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and vendors for ingredient sourcing.
  • Manage project timelines and operational logistics.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in food, supplement, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Extensive experience in production operations, including ingredient preparation, formulation, equipment operation, and product packaging.
  • Able to provide accurate unit costings (cost of goods - COGs) for manufactured products.
  • Strong skills in client and vendor relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP principles, and regulatory compliance relevant to supplements and nutraceuticals.
  • Basic inventory management and procurement skills.
  • Able to prepare SOPs, work instructions, and production documentation.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office or ERP/MRP software.
