Job Description">

We are seeking a diligent Counterparty Onboarding Specialist to join our team.

This role will involve collaborating closely with various stakeholders, including trading, operations, compliance, legal and finance teams, to ensure seamless onboarding experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting and applying AML regulations and internal policies to assess counterparties across multiple jurisdictions and business lines.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships, including direct communication with counterparties, traders, legal counsel, compliance officers and finance partners.
  • Owning the firm's KYC and counterparty onboarding efforts, ensuring a smooth experience for all involved parties.
  • Conducting due diligence and screening, flagging and escalating any high-risk issues promptly.
  • Reviewing financial statements and assessing counterparty risk in collaboration with internal credit teams.
  • Ensuring continuous due diligence through periodic reviews, PEP screening, sanctions and watchlist monitoring.
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive counterparty data in internal systems and third-party platforms.
  • Implementing AML framework and vendor vetting procedures, ensuring best practices are followed.
