Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Counterparty Onboarding Specialist. As a key member of the Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for internal teams during the counterparty onboarding process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AML/ CFT regulations and beneficial ownership structures, with experience in a similar function within a financial institution. They will possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will interpret and apply AML regulations and internal policies to assess counterparties across various jurisdictions and business lines. They will also act as a central contact for onboarding queries, working directly with counterparties, internal traders, legal counsel, compliance officers, and finance partners.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, confident, and a strong communicator. They will be able to maintain accurate and comprehensive counterparty data in both internal proprietary systems and third-party platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in KYC/AML within a financial institution, ideally in capital markets or trading environments.
  • Regulatory awareness, including sound understanding of AML/CFT regulations and beneficial ownership structures.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Fenergo is a plus.
