The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to support the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food quality and service. As part of our dynamic kitchen team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary services.



About the Role

  • Support the Sous and Head Chef with daily operational duties, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Ensure the freshness and quality of all food products, using effective cooking techniques to deliver menu items within a timely manner.
  • Continually seek feedback on improvements that maximise customer experience and profitability, driving business growth through enhanced culinary offerings.
  • Minimise food waste by utilising efficient cooking methods and ensuring consistent food awareness.
  • Assist with the supervision and training of junior kitchen team members, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Contribute to menu planning and ordering processes as required, ensuring alignment with company standards and customer preferences.
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and achieve targets, maintaining high levels of productivity and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, upholding Mulpha's reputation for excellence.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.


Your Background

To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience, demonstrating your expertise in food preparation and presentation.
  • A team player attitude, displayed through your ability to collaborate with internal kitchen teams and external stakeholders.
  • A high standard of personal presentation and hygiene, reflecting positively on Mulpha's brand image.
  • Enthusiasm, commitment, and a willingness to learn and develop professionally, embracing new challenges and opportunities.
