Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned ecologist to provide expert advice on infrastructure and natural resource management projects. The successful candidate will lead environmental surveys and impact assessments of terrestrial ecosystems, including flora, fauna, biodiversity, and habitat.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide authoritative guidance to clients on environmental matters related to infrastructure and natural resource management projects.
  2. Design and execute comprehensive environmental surveys and impact assessments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  3. Develop and deliver technical reports that meet client requirements and stakeholder expectations.
  4. Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science and/or Ecology.
  • A minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in Ecology, preferably in a consulting, construction, or regulatory environment.
  • Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM) accreditation or working towards it.
  • Demonstrated expertise in New South Wales flora, fauna, and ecological communities identification.
