Senior Terrestrial Ecologist Job Description

As a Senior Terrestrial Ecologist, you will play a pivotal role in leading environmental surveys and impact assessments of terrestrial ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice to clients on infrastructure and natural resource management projects
  • Coordinate and lead environmental surveys and impact assessments
  • Deliver comprehensive technical reports and participate in proposal production
  • Manage project delivery and timelines effectively
  • Establish a culture of efficient and effective delivery within the team
Required Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science and/or Ecology
  • A minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in Ecology
  • Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM) accreditation
  • Demonstrated identification skills in NSW flora, fauna, and ecological communities
Physical Requirements:

The ability to stand and work in the field for extended periods is required.
