We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to lead the development of environmental strategies and impact assessments for terrestrial ecosystems.

  • Provide expertise on natural resource management projects, focusing on biodiversity and ecosystem health.
  • Coordinate ecological surveys, analysis, research, and fieldwork to inform project decisions.
  • Deliver technical reports and contribute to proposal production, ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients.
  • Manage project timelines, quality, and delivery to meet stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement biodiversity assessment methods tailored to project needs.
  • Conduct thorough ecological surveys and assessments to inform environmental planning.
  • Collaborate with teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Advanced tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in ecology, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Accreditation in BAM (or working towards) to demonstrate industry-recognized expertise.
  • Demonstrated skills in plant and animal identification, with a focus on New South Wales flora and fauna.
