Job Summary

The Project Manager Infrastructure Lead is a key leadership position responsible for delivering customer-focused maintenance and renewal of Council assets and infrastructure. This role involves leading a diverse team of 250+ members, implementing ongoing services and works programs, and providing emergency management support.

Main Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate the Works and Services department to function at an optimal level.
  • Model leadership behaviour that contributes to a positive and efficient work culture.
  • Develop a budget and set financial targets that influence strategic decision making and objective goal setting.
  • Develop appropriate business strategies to improve profitability and quality customer and community outcomes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil, Structural or Environmental Engineering, or other relevant discipline such as Project Management.
  • Extensive experience in coordinating and delivering infrastructure projects.
  • Proven success in leadership/management positions, with experience in implementing change and improving organizational operations.
