
Ethical Sourcing and Human Rights Specialist

\Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a dedicated team of experts in developing and implementing Coles' ethical sourcing and human rights strategies.\
- Design, document, and publish Coles' annual Modern Slavery Statement, ensuring transparency and compliance.\
- Oversee audit assurance processes, leveraging system and data management skills to drive program success.\
- Provide expert guidance on governance activities, including benchmarking, internal education, and policy development.\
- Contribute to Coles' sustainability reports, investor relations, and external communications.\
- Investigate and resolve whistleblower complaints and allegations related to ethical sourcing matters.\
- Benchmark Coles' performance against international standards and industry best practices, contributing to strategic improvements.\
- Manage key stakeholder engagements, including NGOs, regulators, unions, workers, and suppliers.\
- Develop training and education plans for team members and suppliers.\
Requirements:

- Proven experience in ethical sourcing, risk management, compliance, or equivalent roles.\
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\
- Expertise in preparing policy documentation, data management, and system implementation.\
- Background in international standards and regulations, with a strong understanding of human rights.\
