The Role
We are seeking for a Human Resources Coordinator to provide support, coordination and administration in the delivery of a full range of human resources services, including recruitment, on-boarding and general human resources duties.
- 9 month fix-term - maternity leave position with possible extension
- Salary $ $75000

Key Responsibilities
- Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance by providing HR information to employees on rights and responsibilities
- Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts etc.
- Assisting HR Manager with advising managers on how to deal with difficult situations
- Assisting with all recruitment needs, including writing and placing ads, shortlisting candidates, interviewing candidates, and conducting reference checks
- Assisting candidates with onboarding process, training and checks
- Maintaining and updating employee records and preparing and managing various HR documents and databases
- Ensuring all staff have relevant checks in accordance with NDIS and legislative requirements
- Overseeing the probationary period reviews including reminders to management
- Creating staff profile and ordering staff ID cards as required
- Answering employees queries about HR-related issues
- Assisting with conducting induction training for all new employees
- Scheduling meetings, interviews, HR events etc.
- Maintaining the team's agenda and taking the minutes
- Generating HR reports and Rostering for all support workers
- Ensuring the smooth running of the human resources department in the organisation
- Assisting with performance management procedures and conflict resolution
- Assisting payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. tax, superannuation, bank details, leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
- Creating appropriate employee training sessions on a range of topics, using the most appropriate medium (in person, 1:1, PowerPoint etc)
- Conducting spot checks if required
- Developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Updating company website and social media with relevant information and advertisement
- Actively contribute to the business in a positive manner

You are required to obtain
- NDIS Orientation Module (QSY, New Workers Induction, SEC and SSEM) certificates
- Safe Waste Management certificate
- Infection Control Training certificate
- First aid and CPR certificate
