Job Title: Human Research Ethics Committee Members

The Human Research Ethics Committee Members play a crucial role in ensuring that research conducted at Monash University involving human participants adheres to the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) guidelines.

As a member of this committee, you will be responsible for protecting the welfare and rights of participants in research. You will review research proposals and decide if they meet the requirements of the National Statement and are ethically acceptable.

You will also attend regular meetings with other committee members, contributing to discussion and follow-up review processes. Meetings may be held online and can last between 2-4 hours.
