Expertise in Industrial Relations Required

About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Industrial Relations expert to fill this pivotal position for the Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport Stations, Systems, Trains, Operations and Maintenance package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with industrial relations regulations for employees directly employed by the project team, as well as oversight of subcontractor employee mobilisation and compliance.
- Participate in procurement processes to guarantee that all subcontractor proposals are thoroughly assessed for Industrial Relations risks.
- Screen all subcontract labor and labor hire employees to ensure they meet project requirements for a flexible and cooperative workforce team.
- Coach and assist subcontractor management to anticipate and resolve issues in accordance with the Building Code and relevant project guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Several years' experience in the construction, mining or manufacturing industry.
- Competence in interpreting industry enterprise agreements.
- A strong understanding of labor hire agencies/agreements and commercial frameworks.
- Knowledge of the market and industrial climate relevant to the company's operations.
