About the Role
  • Strategic Oversight:Support the Board and CEO in making informed financial decisions and long-term planning.
  • Monitor Financial Health: Review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts prepared by management, highlighting key risks or opportunities.
  • Support the CEO:Act as a sounding board and partner to the CEO, providing guidance on financial matters, systems, and strategic decisions.
  • Ensure Good Governance:Oversee audit, compliance, and reporting processes, ensuring the organisation meets all obligations.
  • Contribute to Fundraising Strategy:Provide financial input on major fundraising efforts, ensuring funds are used appropriately.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong values alignment:you care about using your skills for positive change, supporting a mission-driven organisation.
  • Experience in not-for-profit governance, finance, or leadership roles,you understand NFP financial challenges and opportunities.
  • CPA or CA qualification:or equivalent experience in management accounting, finance, and/or business management.
  • Financial governance expertise:able to interpret reports, monitor compliance, and advise on strategic financial matters.
  • Stakeholder engagement:able to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Collaborative approach:contribute to broader discussions, helping shape the future of the organisation.
