The Global Channel Partner Sales (GCPS) team is a sales organization responsible for Microsoft's commercial partner business, focusing on building and selling Microsoft Cloud applications, services, and devices with partners to empower people and organizations to achieve more.
This role covers the Asia market area.
Applicants should already be located and authorized to work in the region.
Successful candidates will be offered the role in their current location.
As a Channel Disti Leader, you will lead partner performance in your area, leveraging your work ethic, enthusiasm, optimism, and passion to foster growth within our channel partner ecosystem.
You will utilize your challenger mindset, deep industry knowledge, market insights, and excellent interpersonal skills to grow our ecosystem of world-class channel partners.
You will implement the Disti Partner sales strategy, sponsor executive connections, drive business performance, and maximize partner investments.
Establishing a predictable rhythm with partners and stakeholders will be key to driving sales execution.
This role offers significant career growth opportunities through deep engagement with complex partner organizations and building strong C-Suite relationships.
Responsibilities Accountable for the overall strategy and execution of Disti performance and sales results within the operating unit.
Deliver sales unit FRA, including forecast accuracy throughout the fiscal year; evaluate metrics and translate results into strategic priorities and plans.
Assess customer TAM opportunity, competitive landscape, and market insights to inform proposals addressing opportunities and challenges.
Engage with Cx O leaders and partner country managers to align on strategy, commitments, and priorities, ensuring mutual delivery on KPIs and growth metrics.
Execute the Disti plan consistently, aligning with overall CSP strategy and guidance, and manage the Top SSP plan for partners.
Develop a cohesive strategy and co-sell plan for local partners, sharing best practices and building predictable engagement models based on shared business outcomes.
Implement a collaborative operating model with regional leaders and shared services to maximize opportunities and foster a One Microsoft culture.
Qualifications Experience in Disti management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related fields.
Proven ability to support partner performance strategies, manage forecasts, and translate insights into strategic plans.
Ability to leverage market insights to assess opportunities, risks, and design targeted proposals.
Strong skills in engaging senior partner leaders to influence outcomes and align on strategic priorities.
Experience supporting high-performing sales teams, fostering transparent engagement, and exemplifying One Microsoft behaviors.
