The ideal General Manager candidate will be accountable for the commercial affiliates in Australia, establishing credibility and leadership with all members of the management team. This is a pivotal opportunity to join our organization and lead the affiliate in its mission to deliver innovative therapies to patients who need them most.

  • Represent the company professionally and effectively
  • Ensure compliance with legal and fiscal responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, patient groups, scientific organizations, customers, suppliers, health authorities, and opinion leaders
  • Maximize sales and profit growth of the affiliate

The successful candidate will have significant experience in sales and marketing, new product launches, and leading cross-functional teams within the biopharmaceutical industry. They will have a proven track record of leading businesses within the specialty pharma space and hands-on experience in operational management.

Key performance competencies include:

  • Ability to establish, implement, and communicate a clear and compelling vision linked to the overall strategy of the business
  • In-depth knowledge of the market access environment in ANZ and a track record of successfully working with relevant public agencies and health authorities
  • Excellent strategic thinking skills with the ability to formulate, develop, and execute strategy
