About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Signalling Project Engineer to join our Rail Operations team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating railway signalling construction and installation activities to achieve project objectives. Your expertise in signalling design and management will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of our rail projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate on-site railway signalling construction and installation activities to achieve project, time, quality, and budget objectives.
* Manage the signalling design contractor and the design process.
* Ensure the interface between design, procurement, site works, and testing & commissioning meets project requirements.
* Review signalling design drawings, reports, and data to ensure correctness and alignment with all relevant stakeholders.
* Ensure rail safety assurance processes are followed.
* Provide technical support to Laing O'Rourke rail projects as required.
* Adhere to and promote Laing O'Rourke health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
About You:
* You will have a relevant engineering degree combined with significant experience in Rail Signalling on large-scale civil/rail projects, ideally in Australia.
* Rail signalling experience must be clearly reflected on your resume to be considered for this role.
* Valid Driving Licence & ability to pass a pre-employment medical; including drug and alcohol screening
* Construction Industry Induction & Rail Industry Worker (RIW)
