About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rail Signalling Commissioning Manager/Engineer to join our team in Seven Hills, NSW. As a key member of our Rail Operations business unit, you will be responsible for developing and implementing testing and commissioning procedures to ensure compliance with relevant TfNSW standards. Your expertise will be crucial in managing costs, tracking progress, and ensuring the successful handover of projects to clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement testing and commissioning procedures to meet TfNSW standards
  • Manage costs and track progress of projects
  • Ensure successful handover of projects to clients and stakeholders
  • Manage competencies of Laing O'Rourke testing and commissioning resources
  • Undertake compliance reviews and audits for testing and commissioning work
  • Assess and manage training requirements of Laing O'Rourke testing and commissioning resources
  • Provide reports on progress, issues, and status of activities
About You
  • Minimum 10 years of railway signalling, site testing, and commissioning experience
  • Experience in managing teams for delivery phase of testing and commissioning
  • Preparation of testing and commissioning documents, including strategy, methodology, work package, procedures, reports, SWMS, JSEAs, etc.
  • Sydney Trains and/or ARTC relevant Statement of Competency - Signalling Engineer/Tester in Charge/Commissioning Engineer required
  • Member or Fellow in IRSE (Institute of Railway Signal Engineers)
