The role

We are seeking a skilled Signalling Project Engineer to join our Rail Operations team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating railway signalling construction and installation activities to achieve project objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the signalling design process and interface with design, procurement, site works, and testing & commissioning teams.
  • Review signalling design drawings, reports, and data to ensure correctness and alignment with stakeholders.
  • Ensure rail safety assurance processes are followed and provide technical support to Laing O'Rourke rail projects as required.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the rail systems aspect of major infrastructure projects are completed on time, to budget, and to a high standard.

About you

  • You will have a relevant engineering degree combined with significant experience in Rail Signalling on large scale civil/rail projects, ideally in Australia.
  • Rail signalling experience must be clearly reflected on your resume to be considered for this role.
  • Valid Driving Licence & ability to pass a pre-employment medical; including drug and alcohol screening
  • Construction Industry Induction & Rail Industry Worker (RIW)
