Facilities Maintenance Associate

At the heart of every successful organization lies a well-maintained facility. As a Facilities Maintenance Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our residential aged care environment.

  • Undertake routine cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including resident rooms, communal areas, entry foyer, reception, lounge, dining room areas, nurse's stations, kitchen, laundry, utility room, treatment room, staff room, hair salon, outdoor courtyard areas, cleaners' room, communal bathrooms/staff toilets/visitors, and offices adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Comply with strict infection control protocols and ensure all cleaning products and equipment are used safely and appropriately.
  • Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, promptly reporting any maintenance or restocking needs to the relevant authorities.
  • Assist with duties, ensuring residents' personal items are handled with care and returned promptly.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance and care teams to identify and address cleanliness and safety concerns within the facility.

Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Working Rights in Australia.
  • English Speaking.
  • Aged Care or Health Services Cleaning.
  • Police Check no older than 12 months.
