Facility Maintenance Team Member

About the Job:

The Facility Maintenance Team Member plays a pivotal role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facility's buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the facility is crucial to creating a positive environment for employees, visitors, and clients alike.
  • We are seeking a highly organized individual who can inventory, organize, and stock up closets, toolboxes, and maintenance areas with minimal supervision.
  • A well-structured cleaning schedule is essential to accommodate daily activities while maintaining a high level of tidiness.
  • The successful candidate will have knowledge of building internals (sprinkler systems, HVAC systems, alarm systems, etc.) and be able to manage utilities effectively.
  • Maintenance and repair of playing surfaces is also an integral part of this role.
  • The team member will be responsible for scheduling and performing maintenance on facility equipment, as well as contracting maintenance with outside vendors when necessary.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with sports facilities and associated grounds and equipment is required.
  • Candidates should possess general knowledge of maintenance, janitorial & landscaping.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent certification is mandatory.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to understand and follow both oral and written instructions.
  • This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective time management skills are essential for success in this position.
  • Prior experience using maintenance equipment and procedures is highly desirable.
  • The selected candidate must be available and willing to work long hours and varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
