About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Learning and Development function, driving growth for both frontline and office-based employees across multiple locations.

This role will involve creating and executing learning pathways that align with career advancement for both frontline and office-based workers, serving as an intermediary across different regions and connecting all stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be accountable for devising strategies to bridge skill gaps in alignment with organisational goals across various corporate and operational sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide visible and consistent leadership in our transformational journey
  2. Partner with teams in operationalising strategic and relevant L&D solutions and programs
  3. Proactively identify and manage talent to attend leadership (and other) programs
  4. Ensure effective management, delivery, support and evaluation of all learning and development solutions
  5. Ensure learning content is updated and relevant as required whether rolled out from global, regional or developed locally, including VOC programs including WHS, CoR etc.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in working in large-multi-national organisations and ability to influence and participate in regional and global projects
  2. Data driven insights
  3. Ability to work with General Managers/Senior Executives and be a key influence for the local People team
  4. Qualifications in learning and development, organisational development or training
  5. Evidence of relevant professional development in learning and development, organisational development or training
  6. 10+ years' experience in Training, Learning & Development roles
  7. Significant experience in working in heavy-industrial organisations in a similar industry
  8. Proficient in management of learners in a large scale LMS across multiple sites
  9. Excellent management skills, driving performance and strategy planning
  10. Experience in online learning solutions and systems
  11. Exposure to RTO management software and exposure to large-scale ERPs/LMS
  12. Ability to work effectively in a matrix-based organisation and a multicultural environment
