Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join our team in Melbourne. As an Inventory Controller, you will provide supply chain and inventory management support to our project.

This is a casual opportunity with a competitive estimated salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory via Defence Tools such as MILIS / SAP ERP.
  • Respond to ADF customer queries and undertake supporting transactions in the Defence logistics systems MILIS / SAP ERP.
  • Support MILIS stock takes and SCA holdings management.
  • Disposals – Targeted Disposals (Phaos Disposal, T11 disposals, Fast ropes, G12 Disposals).
  • Other inventory-related project support activities when required by the Project Director, PM's or ILSM.

Required Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge:

  • A suitably qualified logistics professional with a minimum of 2 years' experience within Defence or a related industry.
  • Experienced Inventory Controls practitioner with strong working knowledge of MILIS.
  • Demonstrated experience in Inventory Management for large and complex Acquisition projects.
  • A general familiarity of SAP/ERP systems.
  • Strong people management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
